Welcome to INDIC 2027
We warmly welcome you to the vibrant and historic city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, for the 1st International Conference on Indian Knowledge Systems – INDIC 2027, organised by the IKS Centre, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. The conference will be held on 02–03 April 2027 in hybrid mode, welcoming 150–200 delegates from 8–10 countries both in person and via live stream.
INDIC 2027 establishes a rigorous, source-based international forum for research on India’s mathematical, astronomical, technological and scientific traditions. Submissions across seven tracks — from Sulbasutra geometry and the Kerala school’s infinite series to Pā&nfin;inian grammar as a formal system and IKS pedagogy — are reviewed double-blind against ordinary scholarly standards of evidence. Jaipur itself is a living primary source: Sawai Jai Singh II’s Jantar Mantar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) sits 25 km from campus and forms part of the conference programme.
